Take the Star Sixes Mission Control Challenge and try to beat Robert Pirès

Have you got what it takes to beat a World Cup winner in our #MissionControl challenge?

Well, now is your chance to try – and while you’re at it, you might as well show your mates who is the keepy-up king or queen.

Check out the video below as France Star Sixes captain Robert Pirès sets the standard demonstrating the #MissionControl challenge, then get out into the garden or a field, with a ball, and have a go yourself.

When you’ve nailed it, post your videos on social media, tagging in @StarSixes and #MissionControl, and you’ll also be entered into our exclusive prize draw.

There are six prizes up for grabs.

First Prize for one lucky Mission Controller is a pair of VIP tickets to Star Sixes at The O2 in London on Friday 14 July, two places in an exclusive training session on the Star Sixes pitch with one of the competing legends along with Dream Team actor and ex-professional player Dean Holness, plus a copy of his new book ‘So You Want To Become A Footballer’.

Five runners up prizes are for a pair of tickets, the training session with Dean, and his book.

So, what are you waiting for? Check out Robert Pirès’ attempt and see if you can beat it…

The Rules of the #MissionControl keep-up challenge

  • One ball, one life…
  • Film yourself completing as many #MissionControl circuits before the ball hits the ground…
  • Start with the football in your hands, and throw it up to commence the circuit with a header…
  • One #MissionControl circuit = head, left knee, left foot, right foot, right knee (see Robert Pirès’ attempt in the video above)…
  • Keep going around for as long as you can and keep count of your circuits…
  • When the football hits the deck, or if you go out of sequence, that’s the end of your go…
  • Post your best effort onto Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, tagging in @StarSixes and #MissionControl…
  • Challenge two friends to try to beat your score…
  • Follow Star Sixes on the platform you posted your attempt on…

All valid entries and posts will go into the draw for the exclusive Star Sixes ticket and training session prize…
