Mikkel Beckmann began his professional career with Lyngby BK helping them win promotion to the top tier of Danish football, and played over 100 times for the club. A move to Randers beckoned, before moving to Nordsjælland where appeared in the Champions League after helping them to lift the title. He finished his career following spells in Sweden, Cyprus and then finally a return to Denmark. A winger by trade, Beckmann was a member of Denmark’s 2010 World Cup squad before retiring from football aged just 32.
