A fast and skilful player who played out wide or in-the-hole, but also capable of operating at right-back later in his career. Jørgensen started his career at AGF, where his talent was appreciated winning Danish Under-21 Player of the Year, following AGF’s Danish Cup win. He soon moved to Italy, where he helped Udinese finish third, leading to a call-up to the Denmark senior squad. A move to Fiorentina followed and it was with ‘La Viola’ that he enjoyed Champions League football. He became the only player to have represented Denmark at three FIFA World Cups, and also played at two UEFA European Championships.
