José Bosingwa

An attacking full-back known for his pace and flair, José Bosingwa started his career as a midfielder at Boavista, where he spent three years, before joining Jose Mourinho’s Porto team. He enjoyed a five-year spell at Porto, playing nearly 150 times, winning four consecutive league titles and the UEFA Champions League in 2004. Next was a move to Chelsea where he played for four years, which included success in two FA Cups and Chelsea’s first Champions League title. He finished his club career with stints at QPR and Turkish outfit Trabzonspor. For Portugal he played at the 2008 European Championships and 2004 Olympic Games.
