Jay-Jay Okocha was a naturally talented, creative and exciting player. His skill and trickery became legendary that it was said he was “so good they named him twice” and regarded as the greatest Nigerian player of all time. It was in 1994 that he would earn his greatest honour, when Nigeria would claim the African Cup of Nations, and rise to fifth in the world rankings. He added to it with an Olympic gold medal in 1996.
