Portugal's Anderson Deco celebrates his goal

Deco had an illustrious career, winning league titles in four countries and was one of a few players to have won the Champions League with different clubs. He was twice named the best midfielder in Europe by UEFA, and was considered one of the best playmakers of his generation. He would always keep it simple, using his vision and creativity to unlock defences, linking up play with the capability of scoring from near or far. He was a rare talent and an important component in every team he played for.
