David Odonkor

Known for his pace and ability to beat defenders, Odonkor started his career with Borussia Dortmund and made his debut during their 2001/02 title winning season. Odonkor burst onto the international scene after being a member of the German team that reached the FIFA World Cup semi-finals in 2006. After his successful World Cup he joined Betis, before spells back in Germany then Ukraine. He was a member of the German EURO 2008 squad, and retired at the age of 29, having scored once for Die Mannschaft.
