Danny Murphy

In a career spanning two decades Danny Murphy made over 600 appearances. A feared set-piece specialist, he won multiple trophies. Having started off with Crewe he earned a big move to Merseyside giants Liverpool where he spent the best years of his career and was part of the famous 2001 treble winning side, scoring famous winning goals against Manchester United (on three occasions) and in the Merseyside Derby against Everton. During his time at Anfield he made his international debut. He departed Liverpool for London, first with Charlton then Spurs and Fulham. At Craven Cottage he helped them reach the UEFA Europa League final in 2010 before finishing his career with Blackburn.
